The Darkest Night 1

Those crimson eyes look like they want nothing more than to turn this whole world to ash.... But I would die happy if he killed me right now. Ashlyn has a strange power: she hears the voices of the past that linger in this world. Since she was a child, she's lived a noisy and lonesome life. But when she hears the rumors of angels living in an ancient castle in Budapest, she can't help but venture into their forest. There, she sees a muscular man covered in fresh blood, a man who advances on her with murder in his eyes. But instead of fear, she feels a complete and total silence descend upon her. And an indescribable sense of security...

One of Harlequin bestseller series and bestseller author.
This is really highly recommended to those who love fantasy stories. You may read the basic stories of the series in this one and believe in me, you won't be wait to read the next episode and the others in series.
Besides of story, the art by Earithen is also gorgeous. There are beautiful scenes of Budapest and handsome hero and beautiful heroine. The art is also powerful and make you stunned.
Please do not miss to read others of the series!

Gena showalter Darkest Night 2  2

The darkest night is the first volume in the Gena showalter book series about a group of men being cursed with all of the world's ailments (demons) Violence, Pain, Death, Disease, Disaster, Misery, Doubt, Promiscuity, Defeat, Lies, Secrets, and Wrath. But they couldn't put all of the characters inside this comic. One thing I'm upset with with volume one is they completely missed the Smut shower scene in the original book when she got sick and he bathed her. There is not much Smut in volume one . The character art is gorgeous though and it's pretty close to the book but sort of simplified with missing aspects that wouldn't fit in a comic. But if you are a fan of the first hook the darkest night I suggest purchasing it.
