The Invisible Virgin
Rosie is happiest in the lab where she works as a botanical scientist, but her family demands that she join them at society events to help keep the legendary Linden family in the public eye. She may be most comfortable with dirt under her fingernails, but she's made a deal—if she can live up to her mother and sister’s expectations for one month, they'll get off her case. Little does Rosie know that this temporary arrangement might lead her to a lasting love.

- Fun. 5

This story starts out fun because both the hero and heroine have equal standing in the story. There is not need for the cinderella. They are both independent: meaning they work for a living. Plus, their jobs are cool like being a botanist and a cattle rancher. It's a new combination that I love. I feel sorry for the heroine. I mean there is nothing wrong with learning the ropes on good fashion and how to apply cosmetics in case you meet potential sponsors. However, the way that her mother and sister act is like she is horrible for not adding the daily amount of frou-frou to her face. I find it funny, watching the heroine just jump around when the hero is talking to her. This is because she's afraid he'll find out (though, he has a good idea that it's her.). I do wish that the heroine was a little bit stronger in resisting the whims of her mother and sister. It's so sweet how the hero and the heroine bond with one another. I love how the heroine answers to the hero's question it's so great because of the symbolism placed on it. This is definitely one of my favorite books.
