HUSBAND FOR REAL
Bookstore owner Rose gets shaken up by a rose she finds in front of her store with a card reading “A rose for Rose.” The message written on the card was what James Sinclair used to say to her. James was a perfect man who was admired by everyone and embraced Rose passionately. But when he learned that their college romance was only a game, it ended in disaster. An unforgivable mistake was made—can he ever forgive her?

It was okay but there were a lot of factors but no foundation to hold because the story keeps going back and forth between a decade gap in order to explain the psychology love game that the heroine and her friends played (truthfully, the heroine wanted the hero) and how the hero found out after falling in love then we get a ten year gap with the only reason the heroine is emailing the hero is because he must be the one sending the love notes to her. However, it isn't and the culprit is a younger teenager of the heroine most recent beau and now, an ex because the hero came to see the heroine at night and this is after the phone calls and such that when she gets a phone and the hero answers, the father of the boy gets mad at the heroine who slips some words and the heroine asks if he was just marrying her, so he could throw his son onto her. The man has no answer for that and she ends it. It's a cute ending between friends and all that but it wasn't all that interesting and I like the simple romance because there are no complications or overdone situations but this one tried to do simple and complicated at the same time and failed.
