The heroine is on a journey like "Eat, Pray, Love" and "Queen". Since she discovered her fiancée cheating on her with her friend and decides to follow her 3 times great grandmother's journal of traveling to Istanbul. Not too long after arriving, the heroine is caught in a tourist and nearly hauled off to prison till the hero speaks up on her behalf. He takes her sightseeing and expresses his interest at a late night dinner. They have a hot and passionate night. By morning, her tour's been cancelled but the hero invites her to his place. The two develop a relationship with each other, much to the chagrin of the OW to the point where they have fallen in love but are afraid to act on it. However, their relationship is short-lived with the heroine having to leave and the hero running after her. The hero finds her but also antique that's supposed to be in a glass case. She states that it's a replica she got in Australia but he calls the OW to confirm who lies that it's gone. The situation escalates to the heroine falling down a flight of stairs and the hero learning the truth. They also learn of an unofficial story of the heroine's ancestor who came to Turkey and fell in love with a Sheikh but both their child and him died later with his attendant fulfilling his last request of sending her back home safely. Then the hero and heroine finally confess their feelings of love for each other. We ends happily with a wedding and I enjoyed this harlequin.
