[ 3-day rental ]

Carolena, who lost her fiancé in a tragedy seven years ago, refuses to step forth into a new love because of her intense feelings of guilt. But when she visits her best friend, who married into the Gemelli royal family, she meets charismatic, charming Crown Prince Valentino and falls in love with him at first sight. She had heard he was the world’s most popular royal bachelor and that he had a long, sensational history with women, but he turns out to be an intellectual man with a strong sense of justice. Still, falling in love with an already engaged crown prince would be absurd. Not that that makes it any easier for Carolena to deny his passionate seduction…

Making the choice 4  4

The hero and heroine brought up an interesting matter in making choices; what we chose to do and how one can change our own choices. The heroine has resigned herself to living a bachelorette life since the death of her fiancee in an accident that she blames herself for. The hero is in a struggle with his own choices of continuing on being a scientist when his duties as a prince and his mother's choice of a fiancee go against. They meet through friends and in-laws, the hero flirts with the heroine but she holds up the stop sign. However, he gets her to go riding with him where he talks about his life from where his passion for volcanos started to his choice of having to give it all up for his duties. That includes his wish to be with the heroine because his wedding with his arranged fiancee has been set in two months time. He does make his intentions clear to the heroine and she rejects his advances of course. They separate but she comes back for legal work to the hero. He finally gets her to open up about her fiancee's death and assures that what happened as an accident and not her fault at all. They both confess their feelings of love for each other but the arranged marriage is still in place. He asks the heroine to have faith in him for the next 48 hours to dissolve the engagement. It happens and the hero pours his heart out to her. The heroine still puts up all the wall, not giving her heart in. It was so tragic and the heroine doesn't realize her feelings for the hero till she gets word that he's been injured on an active and erupting volcano. They manage to get the hero safely and he wakes up to the heroine coming in with a tear stricken face. She hugs him tight and proclaims she loves him because she saw a future without him was horrifying and has made the choice of wanting to be with him for the rest of her life. The two make quick plans to get married quickly and it ends happily.
