A BRIDE FOR GLENMORE

Kyla MacNeil is a nurse on the small and pleasant island of Glenmore. When her brother, Logan, a doctor, decides he needs some help for the season, Ethan Walker takes the job, moving to the small island from the big city. His arrival brings some much-needed help to the tiny island, but it also brings its fair share of problems. Ethan seems to hold everyone at arm’s length, but when he meets Luke’s infant daughter, he’s taken aback. Luke’s a recent widower, but Ethan seems to know more about his late wife than he ought to. Can Kyla find out Ethan’s secret before storms and sins break the two apart?

city doctor enters small community 4  4

The hero answers to a request for a doctor to a small community on an island. There are plenty of ups and downs for the hero in dealing with a small community that knows everyone's business but he gets guiding help from the heroine who helps him settle in just fine. The two start developing a close relationship and the heroine reveals the island is a place for people to come and heal like her brother's wife who was a spitfire but settled down she was receiving the love she was so desperately searching for. Just as they are becoming intimate, the hero immediately back off because of his secret that he can't reveal. The heroine takes the wrong way but he straightens it out without telling her the whole reason why. Finally they have coitus but the next morning, the heroine finds a letter and a picture of her pregnant sister-in-law. The hero finally reveals that he's the brother to the dead wife. He opens up about their family's chaotic dynamics and how he was separated from his sister. Then he got a letter from her from out of the blue about her life on the island. She wanted him to come visit but he was hesitating on if he should. By the time he made his decision, it was too late. However, he wanted to come to the island and see the place that his sister loved. The ending goes well with confessions of love and the hero deciding to stay one the island forever.
