The heroine joins the doctors without borders in order to find purpose rather than a paycheck. Then she gets kidnapped by terrorists to be ransomed by back by her government. However, she’s rescued by the hero who’s an undercover sheikh, searching for the leader of an antigovernment unit that murdered his father. Unfortunately, the leader caught him unaware and nearly has him killed but the heroine frees him in time. They escape into the desert and manage to get away from their captors. Then the heroine finds out the hero is brother to the King of the country. They travel back to the capital to the brother and his American wife who’s fun gal. She actually depends on the heroine for information because her husband is trying to protect her in her pregnant self. Even they are back in the palace, they’re still not out of danger with the bad guy’s spy lurking in the palace. It still doesn’t stop the sister-in-law from playing matchmaker with her brother-in-law and heroine. They have a hot date but things go sour what with his rejection then both his brother and him get shot inside the palace. The heroine manages not only to save the hero but help the sister-in-law safely deliver her baby. Everyone survives with the new addition of a baby boy. The hero tries to keep her at a distance with the situation escalating but she refuses to leave him. The two go out into the desert for battle and won. We have a declaration of love and the end.
