Desert Baby 4  4

The heroine and hero met at a medical conference, feeling the chemistry led them in the bedroom. It was a short affair and they left it at that. That is until the heroine finds out she's pregnant and doesn't know how to tell the hero who's a sheikh. However, fate decides to be funny by having the heroine come to the hero's country where she's introduced as the bride's maid of honor and he being the groom's brother. The first few days, the heroine learns of the tragedy of the hero losing his first wife and how he's going to get married again only to provide an heir for his older brother. The heroine is worried how this news will affect the hero. I did like that the heroine didn't drag it out on her pregnancy and while, it does the hero for a loop that has him rethink his whole plans. I did like that they were being mature even with the ups and downs. Another thing that helped them work together and learn more about each other was when the heroine was working to save the hero's newborn baby nephew with a heart congenital disease. I did like how they make mistakes in saying or doing the wrong thing but also apologizing for it. They come to another cornerstone when the hero proposes a marriage of convenience. I like seeing how the heroine weighing out the pros and cons but pulls into what she's supposed to feel in all this. As the two spend more and more time together, they both come to the conclusion that they've fallen in love with the other but haven't told the other. There is a snag when the heroine learns the hero went to the grave of his first wife and thinks he won't love her at all. Yet, she keeps her head on and does a marvelous job during the surgery that saves the baby's life. After the surgery and the heroine has rested, the hero takes her to the home and gravesite of the first wife. He opens about what happened to his wife due to his father's harsh ways and how he never thought he could love again till he met the heroine. He went to the wife's grave to tell her how their country has changed for the better and how he's fallen in love with the heroine. He tells the heroine he loves her, he wants to marry her for her, and asks if she'll have him. She says yes and we get that happy ending.
