The story is pretty average with the plot of two people meeting and one thing leads to another with it ending in marriage. The characters aren't bad and how it played with the plot worked. So, the heroine is your small town/village woman and manager for an ancient castle/hotel that has a new owner. The heroine is worried about the new owner being a video game creator will destroy the castle's natural beauty. The hero states he's not going to destroy the beauty of the Castle and enlists the heroine to help him in making it all right. They have ups and downs with where to put zombies in dining room or lobby to local vs. incoming workers. The two of them struggle with their attraction since they already named their relationship as business. Nobody wants it destroyed by physical attraction but the reader knows it's more than that. The cross over the line is the hero kissing the heroine and it ends on a cool tone. The line is crossed over again to the bedroom and while the iron is hot, the whole thing cools down by the next morning with it being awkward for the both of them. They separate with the hero being miserable and the heroine being pregnant. Five months pass by with the hero encouraged by his friends to see the progression of the castle and the heroine. You can see the shock plastered across his face at the heroine's round bump. The heroine is able to pull the hero into private quarters before he lets the cat out of the bag of who's the baby daddy. The hero tells the heroine to marry him, so he can be part of his child's life because of his past being in foster care. The heroine sympathizes with the hero but holds her ground because the hero doesn't love her. He's unable to make her budge and goes home defeated. He opens up to his friends who comfort and encourage him not to give up on the heroine because he does love her. He catches her at the beach as she confessing her love for him out loud. He responds that he loves her too. He opens his heart and asks her to marry him. She says yes and they kiss. We get a nice ending with the opening of the hotel but no baby.
