The storyline didn't really interest me along with the characters. The hero is blackmailing the heroine into having coitus if she wants to save her father's company that she's managed for so long. Now, he knows about her past; parents divorced when she was young and she went with her mother who went to live in a commune. It was a hellish place that the heroine only escaped when she got word that she was going to be made a "woman" by the commune leader in front of everyone. We don't know if he knew about the little ritual stuff but it's no wonder the heroine compared him to the leader. She goes along with the scheme of things and ends up spending time with hero on boats and picnics. He opens up about his past as an orphan. All those things helped in letting the heroine's guard down. They have coitus and this is where the hero clams up about how their relationship is a no strings attached. The heroine goes along with the whole thing ending but at the end, the hero reveals he can't live without her and they get married. We get the epilogue of them with their two kids. That was practically it and not very exciting.
